Alpha Precision Systems (APS)

Alpha Precision Systems (APS) is the international arm for China-based SPS, that handles its business outside of China. It was founded in 2025 and is based in Texas.

APS is an equipment company focused on precision slot‑die coating and turnkey production lines for perovskite solar cells and other thin‑film applications. It is said to operate demo and manufacturing facilities in both the United States and China, reflecting its role as the U.S. unit or affiliate of SPS focused on advanced coating equipment. 

SPS and the now-defunct nTact had a longstanding cooperation to develop the market in China, so when nTact closed its doors, SPS decided to make use of the experience it has with nTact systems and offer various forms of support to its users. APS also took over nTact's slot-die coater business for R&D to Large scale production.
