China based Dasun Solar (Zhejiang Dasun New Energy) is a PV product manufacturer and clean energy solutions provider, that focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of HJT, perovskite (PVK)/HJT tandem technologies, offering efficient, reliable and cost-effective solar PV cells and modules for the global market, as well as turnkey solutions throughout the life cycle of solar power plants. 

Dasun’s manufacturing base project is located in Anji, Zhejiang Province, China, and it plans to build a fully automatic and smart factory for 4.8GW high-efficiency HJT PV cells and 4.8GW PV modules. 

The production base is equipped with high-standard production equipment to adapt to various advanced production requirements. The GIGA 2 HJT PV products launched by Dasun have better conversion efficiency, bifacial rate and weak light performance, lower temperature coefficient, power attenuation and carbon emissions, and contribute the continuous and stable power generation and long-term investment returns of solar power projects. 

Dasun stated that it developed a highly efficient 1.68eV bandgap perovskite cell with an open circuit voltage of 1.28eV; in addition, the company is also laying out core processes and materials to further tap the potential of PVK/HJT tandem technology.
