Jietai Solar (JTPV)

ShangRao Jietai New Energy Technology (referred to as "Jietai Solar"/“JTPV”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hainan Drinda New Energy Technology Co., listed on China's A-shares market (Stock Code: 002865. SZ). As a high-tech enterprise, Jietai Solar specializes in the R&D, design, manufacturing, and sales of high-efficiency solar cells.

Jietai Solar focuses on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of solar cells. With a decade of industry experience, Jietai Solar became the first specialized manufacturer in the industry to achieve large-scale production of N-type solar cells, driving technological progress and sector-wide advancements. In 2022, Jietai Solar expanded its production capacity, establishing new N-type solar cell production bases in Chuzhou and Huaian. As of year-end 2023, the company boasted a 40GW N-type production capacity. 2024 H1, 19.21GW of solar cell products were dispatched, with N-type cells constituting 16.43GW, securing the top ranking in N-type cell shipments for six consecutive quarters. In 2024, Jietai Solar is advancing its global strategy with plans for a 5GW solar cell manufacturing capacity in Oman, accelerating international market penetration and enhancing service delivery to global clients. Distinguished by their exceptional performance and dependable quality, the company's solar cell products have secured customers' approval across Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Australia.

In 2025, JTPV produced its first industrialized TOPCon-perovskite tandem cell at its manufacturing base in Chuzhou, Anhui Province. The tandem cell, measuring 210 × 105 mm, features a TOPCon structure at the bottom and a perovskite thin-film layer on top. The company says the perovskite layer process was independently developed, tuned, and fully integrated by its in-house R&D team. It stated that this milestone marks its transition from laboratory-level tandem cell development to industrial-scale verification, demonstrating its capability to independently conduct R&D and small-scale production of tandem processes.
