Against a backdrop of massive overcapacity and state-backed pricing from China, he argued that Europe and the U.S. — with their strong innovation ecosystems and emerging manufacturing initiatives — can and must sustain mass production to secure resilient domestic solar industries and avoid critical dependencies, provided the political will is there.

The 2026 edition will bring the whole ecosystem back together — and promises to be even better. Perovskite Connect 2026 takes place on 21–22 October 2026 at the Estrel Convention Center in Berlin, with a day of tours and masterclasses on 20 October, co-located once again with the Future of Electronics RESHAPED.
