Once complete and grid-connected, the project is expected to generate over 1.14 million kWh of electricity annually. The power produced is equivalent to replacing nearly 413 tons of standard coal each year, while carbon dust emissions by 311 tons, CO2 emissions by 1,143 tons, and SO2 emissions by 34 tons.

In February 2025, Microquanta announced the completion of what it claims to be the world's largest building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) project based on perovskite solar panels. Installed on the translucent roof of the University Student Entrepreneurship Center in Shenchi County, Shanxi Province, the project has a capacity of 17.92 kWp.

In March 2025, Microquanta announced that it achieved a conversion efficiency of 24.12% on small perovskite solar modules with a size of 19.48cm², certified by Fujian Metrology Institute of China’s National PV Industry Measurement and Testing Center, an authorized third party testing organization.
