MSWay and Halocell Energy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to supply electrode materials in support of Halocell’s production scale-up for flexible perovskite solar cell technology.
Under the agreement, MSWay will supply its proprietary Flexible Transparent Electrode (FTE) materials for integration into Halocell Energy’s Roll-to-Roll (R2R) manufacturing processes for perovskite solar cells. This strategic partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization of lightweight, high-efficiency flexible solar cells.
Flexible Transparent Electrodes (FTEs) are a critical component in perovskite solar cells, directly determining their charge collection efficiency, light transmittance, and mechanical flexibility. As a result, FTE technology plays a decisive role in the overall performance, durability, and reliability of next-generation flexible solar applications.
Leveraging its proprietary flexible conductive electrode technology, MSWay has successfully developed next-generation electrode materials that offer high transparency, excellent electrical conductivity, and superior flexibility. By integrating these materials into Halocell Energy’s printable perovskite solar technology, the two companies plan to support the development of flexible solar solutions tailored for high-value and emerging applications.
