Shanxi RiShengda New Energy

Shanxi Rishengda is a Chinese photovoltaic glass manufacturer based in Changzhi, Shanxi Province. Founded in September 2010 and reorganized into a joint-stock company in November 2021, the company emerged as a coal-industry transition enterprise and now specializes in producing solar PV glass as a high-tech new-materials business. 

Its facility in the Changzhi (Shangdang) Economic and Technical Development Zone covers roughly 195 mu (about 13 hectares) and employs over 700 people.

The company operates an integrated PV-glass supply chain spanning silica-sand production, natural gas supply, glass raw-sheet melting, and deep processing including tempering, anti-reflective coating, screen-printing and drilling. It runs a 2×1,000 t/d PV glass production line and produces ultra-clear rolled cover glass with light transmittance above 95%, along with tempered coated glass in 2.0, 2.5, 3.2 and 4.0 mm thicknesses, drilled glass and screen-printed glass. 

Its subsidiaries include Shanxi Rishengda New Materials Technology, Pingshun County Rishengda Silicon Industry, Shanxi Keshengda Technology and Shanxi Rishengda Photovoltaic Materials.

Rishengda is a recognized National High-Tech Enterprise and holds several Shanxi provincial designations. As a cover/substrate glass supplier, its products serve as a front-glass input for crystalline-silicon modules and are of the type used in perovskite and perovskite–silicon tandem module packaging.
