SolaEon Technology is a Chinese manufacturer of new generation solar cells, with a focus on perovskite-based PV.

In October 2023, SolaEon claimed its 1,200 sq. cm. perovskite single-junction solar cell module achieved a 3rd party certified efficiency of 21.63%. In April 2024, SolaEon said its perovskite solar cell module achieved a steady state efficiency of 19.2% based on 1,027.1 c㎡ area, and entered the NREL chart. In May 2024, it reportedly achieved a world record conversion efficiency of 29.34% for monolithic full perovskite tandem solar cells. In August 2024, the Company announced it achieved a record high conversion efficiency of 21.95% on 300mm x 400mm monolithic perovskite tandem solar cells. In April 2025, the company also announced all‑perovskite tandem devices exceeding 31% efficiency. In June 2025, a 1.2 m × 0.6 m single‑junction perovskite module was certified at 20.7% efficiency over its full 0.72 m² area (149 W) and 21.88% over the 0.64 m² illuminated area (140 W), marking one of the first times a perovskite module of this scale surpassed 20% full‑area efficiency. In September 2025, SolaEon announced that its independently developed single-junction perovskite PV module achieved a record-efficiency of 25.27% on a 0.72 m² sample area in stabilized testing, with reverse-scan efficiency reaching 25.47%.
