UtmoLight's 6.7 MW perovskite rooftop project connects to the grid, among the largest of its kind

UtmoLight's 6.7 MW perovskite rooftop distributed PV project at Wanshan Lake Park was connected to the grid and put into operation on July 31, completing the project first announced in partnership with Wuxi Xingyuan Green Energy back in November 2025.

The project uses the roof resources of factory buildings in the park, with nearly 15,000 pieces of UtmoLight's own 2.81 m² perovskite PV modules installed. It operates under a "self-generation for self-use, with surplus power fed to the grid" model. 

UtmoLight says the project is currently one of the largest single commercial-scale rooftop PV projects in the perovskite field.
