Yanhe Solar

Founded in 2024, Yanhe Solar is a developer of perovskite-based PV. It is said to have secured angel funding from Chaoxi Capital, Changde Caixin Financial Holding, and Glory Capital Management . 

The company claims breakthroughs in dry-process perovskite cell production with high repeatability and uniformity, achieving certified efficiencies of 18.17% for its 300 x 400 mm semi-transparent flexible modules and 24.1% for small-area flexible devices. Yanhe Solar says it has already completed a 10 MW perovskite cell production line and has received pre-orders worth nearly RMB 10 million ($1.379 million).

In January 2025, Yanhe Solar announced that the signing of an investment agreement with Changde City, Hunan Province, to establish a new perovskite material production base with a total investment of approximately RMB 1 billion ($137.91 million).

In August 2025, the company completed and commissioned a 100 MW fully automated perovskite solar cell production line in Changde, Hunan Province, which it described as China’s first fully automated mass production line for consumer-grade perovskite solar cells.

In October 2025, Yanhe Solar completed a Series A financing round exceeding RMB 100 million (US$14 million), with investors including Orient Jiafu and others. The company stated that the newly raised funds will be used to accelerate technology iteration and capacity expansion for its consumer-grade perovskite PV products.
